It has now been five years since Nina Barandun and Dan Murdoch founded an interior architecture and design studio.

They named it Vinval, a blend of vintage and value that not only sounds lovely but also reveals a lot about the interior designers' style. Creating something good and high-quality is important to the duo. "Our style stands for sustainable, healthy, and natural living. We use resource-friendly materials and combine handcrafted furniture with rarities from around the world." Even though the Swiss designer and the native Irishman prefer working with regional manufacturers, they see no contradiction in being influenced by other cultures. "Our idea of living is changing right now. And other cultures show us what future living in the city or the countryside can look like."
